Brown Sugar and Fig Fragrance Oil Review

Posted by andrew sanderson on

We wanted a softer fragrance that was suitable to use as a melt or candle in a dining room, one that doesn’t clash with the smell of food while eating. This is perfect for freshening a room without shouting ‘air freshener’. Here are the fragrance notes:

Top notes of  white pear and brown sugar, mid notes of jasmine, lily of the valley and ginger with base notes of fig, ambrette and Madagascar vanilla

This fragrance sparks memories of summer, soft ripe figs drizzled with caramel. The fragrance we can smell is soft ripe figs, soft juicy pears, caramel with a hint of vanilla. The floral notes and ginger add to the fragrance but we can’t pick them out as individual notes, this is not a floral fragrance.

Although this is a softer, more subtle fragrance oil the fragrance does carry. This is not as ‘in your face’ as some fragrances, the top notes are not as punchy. This fragrance is all about soft summer fruits. This is a classy and sophisticated fragrance I would describe as understated elegance.
