Christmas Tree / Pine Fragrance Oil Review

We wanted a special Christmas tree fragrance oil, much more realistic than others we had sampled on the market. Our manufacturer didn’t let us down with this fragrance oil. Here are the fragrance notes: 

We are the only supplier of this fragrance oil in the UK and it is a bit special.  The overall fragrance is pine and wood but not overpowering and not like cleaning products. Here are the fragrance notes:

Top notes of bergamot, frozen eucalyptus, orange peel and laurel, mid notes of sparkling cinnamon, white camphor and cyclamen finishing with base notes of fir needle, white balsam, cedar, sandalwood and musky notes

We added 8g of oil to 100g of soy wax then melted a 7.5g piece. When this fragrance oil starts warming and melting there is a lovely fresh pine smell. It is a realistic pine with nothing artificial about it. The bergamot and eucalyptus gives the scent a freshness, the laurel provides some green fragrance notes. The orange plays a supporting role. We can’t detect the orange as an individual note. After a short while the fragrance builds, the white camphor adding a woody, earthy note. We like cinnamon so may not notice it in some oils but we couldn’t pick it out as a separate note in this scent. Nobody else has mentioned the cinnamon note so don’t be afraid to try this if you are not a cinnamon fan. The base notes of fir needle, white balsam, cedar and sandalwood make this a magical fragrance, evoking childhood memories of a traditional Christmas. Its just like having a real Christmas tree in the house. This is not surprising as this fragrance oil does contain small amount of natural oils for a superior fragrance experience.
