Jade Fragrance Oil Review

Posted by andrew sanderson on

We introduced this fragrance oil to the UK with other oils in our crystal collection as part of our spiritual / wellness collection. Here are the fragrance notes:

Top notes of lady apple, kale, eucalyptus, ginger root and leafy greens, mid notes of cinnamon leaf, clove bud and geranium leaves rounded off with base notes of moss, white patchouli and French vanilla

This is a very fresh, calming, soothing, unusual spa type fragrance. It is strong without being overpowering and it carries well through the house. This is a complex, multi-layered fragrance but it is so well blended and balanced it difficult to pick out the individual fragrance notes. We can smell the top notes of apple and eucalyptus and the fresh green notes but we can’t pick out the ginger root or the kale on its own which is as we would expect. The spicy notes of clove bud and cinnamon leaf are subtle, please don’t avoid this if you don’t like spice. This is not a spicy fragrance. The geranium leaf adds subtle green citrus notes to add to the freshness. The base notes of moss and patchouli are very subtle. This is a fresh, green spa fragrance and not a woody style fragrance. The vanilla adds a smoothness but the oil doesn’t have a vanilla note. This is a very difficult fragrance to break down into notes and does test us to describe the mix, it is definitely one to try if you are looking for something fresh, green and unusual. We doubt that you will find anything similar to this in the UK.

This is suitable for use in reed diffusers and room sprays under IFRA 49. See the documents on the website listing for further details.
