Trovita Orange Fragrance Oil review

We asked our fragrance oil manufacturer for samples of herbal / botanical fragrance oils or anything new and unusual. We received two very different orange fragrance oils that were both fabulous. We chose this one as it can be used in lip products and childrens toys (IFRA Category 1).
Here are the fragrance notes:
Top notes of mulled apples, Trovita orange and ambersweet tangerine followed by mid notes of cinnamon, clove bud and rhubarb, rounded off with base notes of patchouli and vanilla bean.
We added 8g oil to 100g wax then melted a 7.5g piece in large open plan room. The room soon fills with a very strong but not overpowering, luxurious deep, rich orange fragrance. The fragrance carries well from one room to the next. It reminds us of an orange essential oil that we used to buy. We don’t usually like orange fragrance oil as we find them a bit too chemical smelling but this is perfect. This fragrance oil does contain small amount of natural oil, you can see this on the SDS (safety data sheet) on the fragrance oil listing. This fragrance reminds me of the orange pomanders I used to make every winter. It is a really well blended fragrance oil; you can tell it isn’t just one flat note but it was impossible to detect the individual notes. This is a deep, rich, rounded orange. The other fruity notes and the vanilla give the fragrance more depth, more fruitiness than just orange alone but this is definitely first and foremost an orange fragrance oil. The vanilla and patchouli base notes are supporting but not dominant. The cinnamon and clove bud are subtle, don’t think of this as strongly spiced orange. If you are looking for a heavily spiced orange try our White Christmas fragrance oil.
Once full drum of this fragrance oil arrived we tested it again. We had so many fragrance oils to test that we tested them as wax melts in a bedroom approx. 4 by 4m. We only left the melt on for a few hours and the room still smelt strongly of the orange fragrance the following day. For two further days you could smell the fragrance in the room, albeit not as strong. Heres a review from one of our customers on this fragrance oil.
