Aloe Vera & Cucumber Fragrance Oil Review

Posted by andrew sanderson on

Aloe & Cucumber fragrance oil isn’t unique to us but our version is a little fresher and stronger than some we have tried. Here are the fragrance notes:

Top notes of white tea leaf, lemon peel and aloe. Mid notes of jasmine, geranium and cucumber, finishing off with base notes of cedarwood, musk and clean amber

We add 8g of fragrance oil to every 100g soy wax then melt a 7.5g piece of wax melt in a large, open plan house. We usually close the doors on the first floor when testing but this time we forgot. We were really surprised to find this fragrance reached up into a room on the second floor even though the first floor room doors were all left open. This fragrance is strong and long lasting and carries through the house but it isn’t overpowering. It has a nice cold throw but really comes alive on melting. The citrus and floral notes are noticeable but this isn’t a citrus or a floral scent. The prominent notes in this fragrance are cucumber and the aloe. These are cool and fresh, very spa like. The base notes in this fragrance add to the longevity of the fragrance playing a supporting role, balancing and complimenting the other notes . The woody notes are not prominent but you can get a hint of the musk notes and the amber adds warmth and rounds the fragrance notes off letting the mid notes be the heart of this fragrance.

This fragrance oil is suitable for reed diffusers and room sprays in accordance with IFRA 49.
