Christmas Wreath Fragrance Oil Review

Posted by andrew sanderson on

We wanted to introduce some new fragrance oils that were popular around the world but not available to buy in the UK. After lots of testing we chose Christmas Wreath as one of those fragrances. We can see why this is a best seller! Here are the fragrance notes:

Top notes of bergamot, eucalyptus, orange peel and laurel, mid notes of sparkling cinnamon, rosemary and cyclamen resting on base notes of fir needle, white balsam, cedar, sandalwood and musk

This fragrance is just as its name suggests, full of the fragrance of the foliage you would use for Christmas decorations. What a gorgeous fresh smell of eucalyptus, rosemary and fir needle. Its like being outside in a forest on a crisp winter day. The floral and woody notes are more subtle, they play a more supporting role in building the fragrance. You can smell the orange, bergamot and cinnamon but these are gentle rather than dominating the fragrance. This fragrance is perfect to evoke and create memories of the festive season.

Looking at the fragrance notes we wondered if it may be too  similar to White Christmas or Fireplace but it is very different. White Christmas is predominantly spices and orange, fireplace is a mixture of foliage, orange and spices with the smokey notes from the fire. If you like fresh Christmas foliage you might like to try Christmas Tree which is like having a fresh Christmas tree in your home. Theres no hint of toilet cleaner in this scent. Frosted Pine Cone is a more snowy outdoor version. All of these fragrances smell amazing and realistic as they contain small amounts of natural oils.
