Titanium Fragrance oil Review

Posted by andrew sanderson on

We asked for some new fragrance oils, something that was popular in other countries but not currently available in the UK. We were told this fragrance oil is popular but very unusual and it certainly is! Here are the fragrance notes:

Top notes of lime, grapefruit, green apple, pear, pineapple, anise and cold metallic accord. Mid notes of violet, lavender, muguet, mimosa and mango nectar finishing with base notes of sandalwood, cedarwood, ambergris, oakmoss, tonka bean, vanilla and musk

This starts of with strong top notes which is very unusual for our fragrances. A 7.5g piece containing 8% oil filled our open plan ground floor and the bedrooms on the first floor with a strong, clean scent. The metallic accord really changes the top notes. There is a hint of fruit but not like we expected after reading the fragrance notes. Once the mid notes start being released the scent changes. We would not have guessed these were mainly floral as the notes are so difficult to describe. The combined scent by now has a hint of perfume or is it coconut? What a perplexing and intriguing fragrance this is! The base notes play a more subtle supporting role. There is a hint of the woods, freshness from the oakmoss and a hint of sweet and spiciness from the tonka bean and vanilla.

We had burnt four tealights on a few different days before we wrote this review. We wanted to make sure we got this review right. This is such an unusual and mystical scent, you must try it yourself to understand what we mean. Please let us know how you would describe this fragrance.
