Tropical Jungle Fragrance Oil Review

We are always looking for new and unusual fragrance oils so we were pleased to test Tropical Jungle as part of a collection of new fragrance oils in 2021.
Here are the fragrance notes:
Top notes of orange zest, crisp bergamot, grapefruit, wild strawberry and palm fronds, mid notes of lemon-geranium, muguet, papaya, cyclamen and clove leaf finishing with base notes of cedar, hemlock tree and tonka bean
We added 8g of oil to 100g Golden wax soy 494 then melted a 7.5g piece of the wax melt in an open plan room.
As soon as this fragrance starts to melt there is an unusual fresh, slightly green (leafy) outdoors aroma. This fragrance oil is really difficult to describe. It isn’t like anything else we have tested before. It isn’t as fruity as the fragrance notes suggest but it sits perfectly in the fresh, fruity, green section of the fragrance wheel. Clove leaf is much softer and fresher than clove so don’t let the clove leaf notes put you off if you are not fond of clove, this is not a spicy fragrance. This fragrance is strong and carries well but is not overpowering. The scent carried well through our open plan home and filled the house with fragrance but its not ‘in your face’ strong, it remains very fresh in an outdoors type of fresh fragrance way. We melted this one morning in our home and we could still smell it the following morning when we got up. This fragrance evokes memories of walking through a tropical rainforest in the Caribbean, tropical holidays and warm summer days.
This would be a great as part of a themed collection with tropical sun, coconut lime verbena, birds of paradise, baby its warm outside or frangipani & monoi.
